In addition to holding mobile blood drives out in our communities, the River Valley Region operates 9 donor centers - 5 in Indiana and 4 in Kentucky. You can give blood at all 9 donor centers, and you can give platelets (apheresis) at 4 of them. Donor centers accept walk-ins, but operate mostly on an appointment basis. Scheduling an appointment at a donor center will likely ensure that you'll get in and out more quickly because we're prepared and expecting you before you even walk in the door.

We encourage people interested in becoming regular blood or platelet (apheresis) donors to give at a donor center because it's the most efficient way to save lives.
